DEWAYNE WICKHAM APPOINTED TO CHAIR OF COMMUNICATION STUDIES
Building the School of Global Journalism and Communication Studies
BALTIMORE, MD- Dewayne Wickham was assigned the role of the chair of Communication Studies at Morgan State University. Wickham has previously worked for The Baltimore Sun, USA Today, WBAL-TV, CBS News, US News & World Report and BET.
The new school transformation and development is set to begin immediately. Reports state Wickham will bring new and exciting changes for the school of communication, specifically building the school of Global Journalism and Communication Studies.
When the new school is finished students will have brand new opportunities. The new school will be merging learning with practice. Students will be able to put to use what they learn in the classroom in real-life. Also, students will have the exciting opportunity to travel and study abroad.
Students are excited for the new transition and are fortunate for the opportunity. These students will be the first to see things grow and will have hands on experience with the new cutting edge school.
" Morgan has given me the honor of conceptualizing this school and serving as its founder dean." Said DeWayne Wickham, he is solely responsible for this role and transitioning the school of communication.
