Morgan State University Welcomes New Department Chairperson
New Chairperson looking to implement new school
BALTIMORE, MD- Baltimore’s very own Mr. Dwayne Wickham has accepted a new position as the new chairperson’s of the Department of Communication studies at Morgan State University. Mr. Wickham is looking to help implement the School of Global Journalism and Communications Studies at the University.
Mr. Wickham has previously worked as the professor of Journalism and served as the interim chair of the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication at North Carolina A&T University. He is also the graduate of the University of Maryland and received his master’s degree from the University of Baltimore.
Wickham has reported on eight U.S presidents, dined with Fidel Castro and traveled with Nelson Mandela. He also followed President Barak Obama to Paris during his first campaign. “Morgan has given me the honor of conceptualizing this school and serving as its found dean”,
says Wickham, the Communications Department staff and students are indeed excited for this new transition that is going to soon take place.
